Ⅴ. Installation Requirment a. Mechanical The guide ramp is mounted under the floor below the door through four mounting holes, four M10×30 bolts, nuts, dia.10 spring washer and plain washer. The four mounting holes on carbody should be made according to the size of mounting holes on ramp enclosure, ensuring that foreside of guide ramp is 10mm outward than foreside of door floor. The mechanism should be installed level and consistent, 5mm deflection and no distortion is allowed (spacers are to be used for adjustment). b. Electrical See attached drawings. Ⅵ. Trouble Shooting If the mechansim does not work properly, follow below processes: Check if the functional switch for guide ramp on the dashboard is activated? Check if the vehcile door is open? Check if the 15A fuse breaks? Check if the control switch for door opening is working properly? Check if the control switch for guide ramp is ok or not? Check if the motor of guide ramp is ok or not? Check if the controller of guide ramp is ok or not? Check if the mechanical driving system of guide ramp is ok or not? If the ramp platform retracts automatically for three times repeatly before it is fully deployed and there is no external obstruction, the mechanism has too much friction. Check if the mechanism is installed properly, ensure the ramp platform and its housing are placed in the same level. If the ramp platform retracts automatically after it is fully deployed for three times repeatly and there is no external obstruction, the external control switch may fail or connectors may have bad contact. If the ramp platform gets stuck with foreside flap during retraction movement, the functional switch for guide ramp on the dashboard should be disactivated first to allow mannual removal to this problem. Then wait about two minutes till the over-heat protection of motor disappears, activate the functional switch for guide ramp on the dashboard again, retract the ramp platform automatically by using the guide ramp control switch. If ramp platform fails to work when the guide ramp control switch is activated, however pilot lamp and beeper work properly, the inner control switch may fail or connectors may have bad contact.. Above failures are based upon design theory and 100,000 cycles of test operation. In practice the guide ramp system has passed various test and operation. It can work safely without failure as long as it is correctly installed and adjusted according to operation manual. Ⅴ. Daily Maintenance 1. Lubricate chain system and parts that need lubrication periodically. 2. If stored for a long time, clean the guide ramp system to avoid block. The system should be operated and checked at least once a week. 3. Check and ensure good connection of joints and linking parts periodically. 4. The guide ramp system has many electric units and joints, check them periodically to avoid rustiness and looseness. 5. The guide ramp system is located under the vehicle, pay attention to avoid water. |
