---For Gliding Door Mechanism

 

Maintenance work of gliding door mechanism is easy because of simple mechanical structure and installation. Since no current standard for such maintenance existing in the nation, we have made the procedure, according to vehicle repair requirements, and graded it into three levels as described below:


Daily Maintenance:
1. Keep clean the exposed parts such as drive shaft, swing arm, bracket, roller, guide line-roller and roller bracket.
2. Check the flexibility, swing speed and cushioning of door function. Remove the problem, if any, by adjusting the speed and/or cushioning screws on the cylinder according to operation instruction.
3. Check the anti-clamping function. Remove the problem, if any, by adjusting the position of reed switch according to operation instruction.
4. Check the working condition and reliability of digital lock and remote controller. Contact electrician or supplier if any malfunction.


Maintenance Care I:
After a certain period of car driving (say 20 days), careful examination should be carried out on the door mechansim, especially on the fasteners and air-current tubes (to avoid any loosening or air-leaking).


Main fasteners to check:
Fastening screws for brackets, guide line-roller, solynoid valve, booster, quick-release valve, valve brackets, cylinder cover, joints, reed switch and cran, including the nuts;
Screws and bolts for roller shaft, roller bracket and relevant pins;
Fastening screws and nuts for arm brackets, angle irons, clamp sleeves, ball joints; also bolts and pins to connect arm bracket and door panel, swing arm and arm clamp, arm clamp and drive shaft;
Fastners for above parts should be firmly locked-in;
It is also important to examine the condition of air- current system, from the air tank joint to cylinder connection. Analyze the cause, if any leaking, derived from components (like connector, air tube, valve) or air current wiring (rush turning, air current blocked, air tube loose or falls off connector). Applicable measures should be taken to different causes;
Maintain the door mechansim every 15 days.

 

Maintenance Care II:
Maintenance care II should be applied to vehicle after half a year’s driving. Besides requirements under Maintenance Care I, oil-retaining bearins need to be maintained at this level, which are listed below:
Bearing(GE20ES) inside splined shaft bracket on cylinder bracket, ball joint bearing on cylinder piston-rod, joint bearing(GE10E) at lower part of drive shaft, which should be taken down for cleaning and re-oiling.
Renew, if necessary, parts like brackets connecting out-laid articulated door mechasnim and door panel, ball joints on swing arms of built-in articulated door mechamism;
Replace, if cylinder leaking air, sealers like piston gasket, cylinder sealing ring, cushining sealer, piston-rod bush and gasket;
Replate or replace any galvanized or chromeplated parts that are already attrited and/or rusty;
Repaint or replace any rusty or old painted parts;
Replace any auxiliary parts if seriously worn-out;
Renew any fittings with rust, falling, abrasion or distortion;
Measure and check door clearance- side&mid. Appropriate adjustment should be made if any excursion;
Check the outer-surface consistency of door with vehicle body, and the engagement of weather strips between door and door frame. Adjust the roller, crank and retaining screw for guide-line to make door in right position;
It is suggested to maintain the door mechanism when maintaining the whole vehicle.
Maintenance of gliding door mechanism requires carefulness and meticulosity.
